An Iron Girl athlete embodies Lex's core values both on and off the field. They are passionate about life and constantly strive to enhance their mental and physical well-being. Here's what sets them apart:

  • Inspires Others: Leaves a positive impression on everyone they meet.

  • Eager to Learn: Is coachable and seeks guidance from mentors.

  • Team Player: Values the team as a whole and each member individually.

  • Resilient: Works hard to overcome obstacles and adversity.

  • Self-Aware: Uses sports as a way to understand themselves and grow.

Our Goal

Iron Girl Project, Inc. (IGP) proudly supports high school athletes through the annual Alexea G. Karpinski Memorial Scholarship.

Each spring, a select group of twelfth-grade recipients are rewarded in the amount of $2,253. These students have demonstrated how they draw upon sports to become humble leaders with compassion, tenacity, and true grit in all aspects of their lives.

IGP’s goal is to encourage student athletes on their journey to create a positive legacy, one that has an impact on their teammates, families, and communities.
