Our Mission

Iron Girl Project proudly supports high school student athletes through the annual Alexea G. Karpinski Memorial Scholarship. Our goal is to encourage student athletes to create a positive legacy, one that has an impact on their teammates, families and communities. We award these leaders for demonstrating true grit, tenacity and humility on and off the field. They strive to make themselves and others greater than the day before. Iron Girl Project was founded in honor of Alexea “Lex” Karpinski.

Founded in honor of Alexea ‘Lex’ Karpinski, Iron Girl Project, Inc. (IGP) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that raises funds to support high school student athletes who make a difference on and off the athletic field. The Alexea G. Karpinski Memorial Scholarships are awarded to individuals who demonstrate leadership, determination, and compassion on their teams, in their classrooms, and in their communities.
